If you're looking for a career in scuba diving, look no further than Sea Experience! Don't you

by some of the most experienced instructors in the industry. They have in excess of seventy years of
experience and over 40,000 dives between them. All of them have owned or managed dive centers, resorts and
live-aboard dive boats. All PADI instructor programs follow the same standards, it is the "real world"
applications that set us ahead of the rest. The industry knowledge that you absorb, along with the experience
and expertise you gain from the course will set you on the road to a fun, enjoyable, fulfilling and most of
all, a successful future career in the diving industry.
Along with your training, you should consider, "where should I go?" Let me say three
words - "location, location, location"! The Bahia Mar area of Fort Lauderdale, Florida
is on the beach in the yachting capital of the world. In fact, this is where career instructor training as
we know it, began.
Whether you're already a seasoned diver or just starting out with the dream of an exciting career in scuba
diving, our programs are designed to get you on track to realizing your goals efficiently and with the highest

Here are a few things you may want to look for, or ask about when selecting a scuba career center:
Staff experience - how many Course Directors are there and will they be doing the teaching? Some schools
use IDC Staff Instructors for the majority of the program! Is the Course Director experienced in all
aspects of the scuba industry?
Location - is it on the beach? How far are the boat(s), classroom, pool and other facilities spread out?
Do I need a car while I am there? Are there a variety of restaurants nearby?
Alumni - will you become part of the largest group of instructor graduates in the world?
Job placement assistance - Firstly, I do not want to sugar coat this. Can we guarantee you a job upon
completion of your training? The answer is no! Please be very, very careful of anyone who says they can
offer you this. Firstly, we have never met, I do not know your career goals, your personality, work ethic
or level of training you will finish with. I do know that with the largest instructor alumni in the world,
we have the biggest professional network in the scuba industry. Many of these are owners and managers now,
who turn to us when they want to fill their vacant positions. So our pledge to you is that if you come here
to learn, expand your knowledge and be open to placement area, you will be pleasantly surprised.
